In this class, Serena will be combining both Yoga Flow and contact partner work from Laban movement analysis. This class is suitable for all levels and geared for partners and friends to move together. We will be focusing on syncing movements with our partner and finding connection and love through contact, yoga, meditation, and elements of sound bath. The concepts of Rudolph Laban's (1879-1958) movements is "body, space, effort, and relationships" which develops the framework when moving with another person and doing partner work. Students will learn how to offer support for their partners in asana, shifting and utilizing each other's weight, as well as syncing pranayama (breath). The class will end with a short sound bath.
Yoga mats, blocks, and blankets will be provided :)
